Initial Cause of Data Loss

A client approached us with an Acer laptop model Z24-880 that had been in use for about three to four months. During that period, faint lines began to appear on the screen, and over time, these were followed by patches of white spots. Despite the visual issues, the desktop continued to be used until it failed to boot into Windows. The machine only displayed the BIOS screen. While the client intended to discard the desktop, they wanted the data recovered first.

Diagnosis and Recovery Process

Our recovery team carefully removed the storage devices from the system. The desktop was equipped with a Kingston 128GB Solid-State Drive (SSD) and a Toshiba 2.5-inch 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD).
