Beware of SPAM!
Recently, we came across many users getting emails that warn the users that their mailbox quota have been exceed and if they do not increase their emails storage capacity soon their email account will get locked.
An example can be shown below.
Please be advise that these are SPAM email, they trick the recipient into clicking the link and it will link into another phishing website which will either ask you are your email particulars, or unknown to the user download a malware into the user’s computers.
For business email account users, if you receive such an email do let your IT staff know about this.
Usually, if your mailbox is reaching the mail quota, your IT staff will inform you directly, and actions are done or advised by your IT staff.
Also if you receive such email, it is best to check your email storage capacity before you do anything else. No email provider will ask you to verify your email id together with your password.
